Savannah Chrisley Reveals Unrecognizable New Look, Opens Up About “Life-Changing” Surgery in Beverly Hills

“I hated the way I looked,” the Chrisley Knows Best star confesses about her decision to go under the knife amidst a physical and emotional crisis.
BEVERLY HILLS — Savannah Chrisley is officially breaking her silence on the transformation that has everyone talking. In the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, the 27-year-old reality star sat down with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Charlie Galanis, to peel back the curtain on the liposuction procedure that she says made her look like “a completely different person.”
The 40-Pound Nightmare
Moving past the rumors, Savannah admitted her body had spiraled out of her control. The reality star revealed she packed on a staggering 40 pounds in just three months. For someone living constantly under the flashbulbs of Hollywood, the change was a psychological breaking point.

“It was crazy,” Savannah shared. “I had photo shoots to do, and I just hated the way I looked. It took a massive toll on me—physically, mentally, and emotionally.”
While not blaming vanity, Savannah hinted at a grueling medical battle that pushed her to the edge, making traditional exercise feel like a losing game.
“Swearing Like a Sailor” — A Recovery Room Fiasco
The surgery took place secretly in Beverly Hills around Christmas, with her mother, Julie Chrisley, by her side (prior to Julie beginning her prison sentence alongside husband Todd).

Dr. Galanis, who performed the procedure, shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment from the recovery room. According to the surgeon, a heavily medicated Savannah was “swearing like a drunken sailor” and repeatedly telling him how “hot” he was. The scene was so chaotic that Julie had to step in, telling her daughter: “Savannah, shut up!”
A “New Savannah” and the Power of Honesty
Despite the post-op pain, Savannah insists the results saved her spirit. Seeing a “completely different person” in the mirror gave her the spark she needed to reclaim her discipline.
“When I saw the results, I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ It made me want to live a healthier lifestyle to keep it up,” she explained.

By coming clean about her journey, Savannah joins the ranks of candid Hollywood heavyweights like Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian. Instead of hiding behind filters, Chrisley is choosing radical transparency, proving that sometimes, surgery is the ultimate “reset button” for lost confidence.
