Watch Kevin McGarry Support Wife Kayla Wallace on Red Carpet Hours After Pregnancy Reveal: ‘Dream Come True’

Hours after real-life Hallmark couple Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace announced they’re expecting their first baby together, the “When Calls The Heart” actors made their first red carpet appearance as parents-to-be.
McGarry is best known as WCTH’s leading man Nathan Grant, but Wallace’s character, Fiona Miller, has appeared far less on the long-running Hallmark show since the actress joined the cast of the Paramount+ series “Landman” in early 2024.
On November 11, 2025, Wallace joined the “Landman” cast for the season two premiere in New York, and McGarry jetted there to support her after spending four days at sea on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise. In red-carpet interviews, Wallace gushed about what a good dad her Mountie hubby will be.
Wallace, who plays hard-nosed lawyer Rebecca Falcone on “Landman,” posed on the red carpet with the show’s cast, including Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, and Sam Elliott. Wallace cradled her baby bump with black leather gloves over a creamy satin mini dress.
McGarry was spotted in a sweet video (above) in which he stepped out of the shot so his expectant wife could shine on her own.
Speaking to reporters on the red carpet, Wallace told “Entertainment Tonight” how lucky she feels, explaining, “This has been such an incredible year. Last year was so amazing. I mean, I filmed season one (of ‘Landman’), got married. Now my husband and I are expecting our first baby, and we’re celebrating season two tonight. It’s really a dream come true.”
Kayla Wallace Jokes That Hubby Kevin McGarry May Need Practice Changing Diapers
GettyWhen ET reporter Cassie DiLaura asked Wallace how McGarry’s role on WCTH, especially as an adoptive father to Nathan’s niece Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller), Wallace joked, “Well, he didn’t have to change any diapers on the show, so we might need to do some practice in that realm.”
Wallace then lovingly added, “But, like, all the fatherly advice? I think he’ll be alright with that kind of stuff. He’s a pretty wise and wonderful guy. I’m very lucky.”
Wallace also told DiLaura that they’re “still in the planning phase” of prepping a nursery and plan to be surprised by the baby’s gender, noting, “We’re here for the journey and it’s been a wonderful one so far.”
Hiding Her Pregnancy ‘Wasn’t That Hard,’ Kayla Wallace Says

Wallace and McGarry haven’t revealed when their baby is due, and have done a great job keeping the pregnancy a secret. In early October, the actress wore various oversized coats to hide her baby bump during Paris Fashion Week.
Acknowledging that her pregnancy happened to “work out” in between filming “Landman” seasons one and two, Wallace told ET that her biggest cravings have been pineapple and cucumbers — though not together.
