Shockwaves Through the Palace! Princess Diana’s Brother Speaks Out After 60 Years – Charles and Camilla Left Stunned

The then-Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer got married on July 29, 1981
Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, has shared a new photo of his sister 44 years after her 1981 royal wedding.
On July 29, 1981, Lady Diana Spencer walked down the aisle at St Paul’s Cathedral at the age of 20 to marry the then-Prince of Wales.
The marriage famously ended in divorce in 1996, with Princess Diana dying the following year in a car crash in Paris.
Taking to social media on the would-be wedding anniversary, Earl Spencer posted a picture of himself and Diana as young children.

He captioned the post: “A long ago summer, by the swimming pool at our childhood home, Park House, Sandringham – Diana and I both proudly showing off our swimming badges (sewn onto our swimming costumes).
“These were awarded (sparingly) by Mrs Lansdowne, a fairly terrifying but very gifted swimming instructor, who came to stay each year.
“We were never out of that pool.”
Royal fans loved the throwback post, with some even recognising similarities between the young Diana and Charles with current members of the Royal Family.
For example, one royal watcher asked: “Prince George and Princess Charlotte?”
A second person wrote: “Well, I definitely see Prince George in you there.”
Another person commented: “Princess Diana will always be in our [red heart emoji] forever.”
Similarly, someone posted: “Super sweet, what wonderful memories of childhood.”

Finally, someone wrote: “This is so adorable… having beautiful childhood memories with no cares in the world, sibling love.”
King Charles arrived in Scotland on Monday to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dounreay Nuclear site.
His visit coincided with Donald Trump’s appearance in Scotland, where he travelled to meet Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Is he ready to make the move? That’s what a lot of royal fans and critics can’t help but wonder as there is strong speculation suggesting King Charles might be ready to abdicate to the throne and hand over the monarchy to his son, Prince William. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
King Charles Is Close To Quitting – Gives Prince William The Throne
There’s a new report that suggests the King of England is seriously thinking about stepping down and handing over the royal baton to Prince William.
As many royal fans and critics know, King Charles was diagnosed with cancer back in 2024 and it’s being said that he’s having a hard time attending his royal engagements and public appearances.
That’s why he thinks that if there were a time to step down, it would definitely be now. However it’s also being reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton certainly don’t want to push King Charles out the door, nor do they want him to feel as though they are stepping on his toes.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “It’s not a subject that people really talk about very openly, but everyone is aware that Charles’ health is failing.”
“The last thing Kate and William want to do is to put a case forward for Charles to abdicate. They want him to go on as long as he physically wants to.”
