Below Deck Chef Anthony Iracane Confirms His Ex-Wife Is Still Dating His Uncle
Chef Anthony Iracane opened up about his complicated personal life during the Monday, June 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, confirming that his ex-wife is still in a relationship with his uncle. The revelation left fans shocked but is not entirely new, as Anthony had previously discussed this family drama during his time on Below Deck.
When asked about the cause of his exit from Below Deck Season 11, Anthony shared that a series of emotional events led to his decision. “I went through a lot of emotion,” he recalled. “I divorced my ex-wife, who left me for my uncle. So that’s kind of a crazy thing. Then my dad passed and I was going through a lot.”
Andy Cohen was quick to press Anthony for more details on his ex-wife. Anthony confirmed that his ex and his uncle are still together, saying: “Yes, and they want to make a family.” The chef joked, “It’s kind of cool” to think about who he might be to his uncle’s future child. However, when asked if he still has contact with his uncle, Anthony was clear: “Absolutely not”, claiming he never received an apology from him.
The revelation was a surprising one for Andy Cohen, but fans of Below Deck are already familiar with the backstory, which Anthony had shared in a previous season. In a February 2024 episode, Anthony opened up about the breakdown of his marriage, saying: “I wish I could be in love like that with somebody.” He went on to explain, “I got married when I was 26. We had a lot of plans to create a family. It was a big deal.”
Anthony further detailed how his marriage fell apart. “So long story short, one of my uncle[s] is a captain. He found out that she is a chief stew and he found her a job. I still have no text from her. No phone call. I guess she just left me for my uncle, you know? It was kind of pretty s****y.”
Despite the heartbreak, Anthony remains optimistic about his future. “So for the moment, I’m literally in love with my cat,” he said, making light of his situation.
Anthony eventually left St. David before the charter season concluded. He later returned in Season 12 after Chef Lawrence Snowden left due to his discomfort with working on a yacht with cameras. Chief Steward Fraser Olender vouched for Anthony’s return, but based on sneak peeks of future episodes, it seems the duo will have unresolved issues to address.
“Coming back to the boat, I have a lot of different emotions inside of me,” Anthony confessed to the cameras. “I love Fraser, but I was feeling like maybe he betrayed me? I need to find the right moment to talk about my feelings and to put everything on the table.”
With emotional drama continuing to unfold both on and off the boat, Below Deck fans can look forward to more revelations and confrontations. The show airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
