Paul Campbell Flooded With Love & Prayers After Leaving Hallmark Cruise Early
Longtime Hallmark fan-favorite Paul Campbell, who stars in the new “Three Wisest Men” movie on November 15, 2025, was one of 18 beloved stars aboard the second annual Hallmark Christmas Cruise that left Miami on November 6.
But Campbell unexpectedly left the cruise early, EntertainmentNow has confirmed, flying home from Mexico to Canada. Campbell flew from Cozumel, where the ship had an already-planned stop, to Alberta with fellow Hallmark star and dear friend Kimberley Sustad by his side. More than 4,000 fans who were on board the Norwegian Joy, which returned home on November 10, have been hoping Campbell is okay and expressing concern for him on social media.
Hallmark Rep Says Paul Campbell Feels the Love From Fans
GettyAfter the departure of Campbell and Sustad, who are not only onscreen Hallmark stars but screenwriting partners who wrote the “Three Wise Men” movies, their colleagues and fans have been surrounding them with love.
Announcing that Campbell had to leave for a family emergency and that Sustad went to support him, actress Nikki DeLoach, who served as co-host of the cruise with Jonathan Bennett, led a powerful prayer for their well-being and spoke about the impact of banding together as a “chosen family.” Her friend and screenwriting partner Megan McNulty shared some of her beautiful remarks in her Instagram Stories, which StarwatchByline reposted.
In another video, hundreds of attendees chanted Campbell and Sustad’s names repeatedly in a show of support. Sustad shared a video of the moment in her Stories and said it brought her to tears.
Many attendees have posted inquiries about Campbell in a Facebook group dedicated to the Hallmark Christmas Cruises, concerned for his well-being. To assure everyone that the actor is okay, Hallmark VP of Communications Annie Howell responded to one post by writing, “Hi all — he has been dealing with an illness in his family and is with them now in Alberta. He is doing fine and I know appreciates all your thoughts and prayers.”
Paul Campbell Was Able to Attend Screening of Hallmark’s ‘Three Wisest Men’ Before Leaving Cruise
HallmarkCampbell and Sustad did get to enjoy some of the Hallmark Christmas Cruise before their departure, including taking the stage with co-stars and friends Tyler Hynes and Andrew Walker to surprise the crowd at one of the on-board previews of “Three Wisest Men.”
Rather than watch a screener of the movie in advance, the foursome decided to watch the final product together and witness the audience’s reactions firsthand.
Campbell stars in a second holiday movie in 2025 with popular Hallmark actress Erin Cahill, called “Christmas at the Catnip Cafe.” That movie premieres on November 30.
