Nathan Gallagher temporarily ended his social media hiatus for an adorable reason. On Wednesday, February 18, the Below Deck Mediterranean bosun took to Instagram to share another peek at his fatherhood journey. Nathan uploaded a photo of himself and baby Kayden Cameron Gallagher — the 7-month-old son he shares with Gael Cameron.

Taken during a family boat day in late 2025, the snap showed the baby boy sitting on Nathan’s lap with both hands on the steering wheel. Kayden looked at the camera with a big ol’ smile, suggesting he could very well follow in his mom and dad’s yachting footsteps.
The family outing took place in Gael’s hometown of Sydney, Australia, where she recently purchased her first home. Gael shared a peek at the new chapter on Instagram back in October.
“Today, I settled my first property!” she declared in a video filmed alongside Nathan and their baby boy. “Here we go! New adventure. I’m now going to have to look for coloring and plates and stuff that we haven’t really had to look for for a very long time.”

Days after sharing the boat day throwback, Nathan reposted a video of his recent pickleball game with friends. The yachtie didn’t provide any details about the get-together, but it was clear he was enjoying himself.

Gael and Nathan began dating during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, when they joined the Mustique deck crew. The pair split shortly after the cameras went down, citing the pressures of a long-distance relationship. (Gael was living in Sydney, while Nathan was primarily based in Ireland.)
“After last charter season, Nathan and I traveled for six weeks,” Gael said in Season 10, Episode 13. “And I went back to Australia; he stayed in Ireland… Distance did take a toll.”
Gael said Nathan ultimately “ghosted” her for nearly a week, until she finally had enough and confronted him over his behavior.
“I was like, ‘Dude, like, just let me know you’re OK,” she continued. “Like, I’m here. If you don’t want to do this, it’s fine. … I’m here thinking something’s happened to you.’ And that’s where he was like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this right now.’ He was someone I loved. And, yeah, you know, it hurt. Like… It hurt.”
The pair rekindled their relationship at the end of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 and welcomed Kayden less than a year later.
