The Below Deck alum took to Instagram this week to provide another update on her life as a single mom. Kate filmed a video from inside her kitchen, as her toddler son, Sullivan Cay, continued to throw utensils across her stone floor.

“What are you doing?” the mom asked. “Um, can you pick them up, please?”

Sullivan was initially out of the frame as he tossed wooden spoons, metal spatulas, and ladles toward the oven. He eventually made his way toward Kate before picking up more spoons, only to throw them on the floor again.

“Sorry I didn’t text you back….” Kate captioned the Story. “I’ve got a lot going on.”

But Sullivan’s kitchen antics didn’t end there. Kate returned to Instagram a few minutes later to share a video of her little boy taking a plastic utensil holder and dumping more items on the floor.

“What?” the Florida mom asked before singing, “Pick ’em up. Pick ’em up. Pick ’em up!”

“Not helping the [Ben] rumors,” she wrote in the post.

The caption referenced the longstanding suspicion about Sullivan’s paternity, as Kate has yet to reveal his biological father’s identity. Many fans were convinced that Chef Ben was Sullivan’s dad; however, Kate shut down those beliefs in a series of X posts.

“For the record, the only thing this handsome guy has in common with any chef is the tendency to get emotional around meal times,” she wrote on May 8, 2023, just days after giving birth to Sullivan.

Kate doubled down the following month, when she posted side-by-side photos of her son and an infant Ben.

“It would be great if people would stop commenting and messaging me ‘baby Ben!’…….every single day,” she wrote on June 29, 2023. “For reference this is Ben as a baby on the left next to Sullivan. Clearly not related.”
