‘Grown up’ Prince Louis, 7, displays his best behaviour ever at Easter church service

Prince Louis appeared to be on his best behaviour ever with an impeccable show of manners as he joined his family for Sunday’s Easter service.
The seven-year-old, who is Prince William and Kate’s youngest child, has long been renowned for his cheeky antics when he appears in public – something that has won him legions of fans.
But on Sunday, he surprised onlookers with a perfect show of behaviour as he obediently walked in line with his family to St George’s Chapel in Windsor – a far cry from his hilarious faces and wild reactions at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Royal fans soon gushed that Louis was looking “so grown up”, while another praised his behaviour as “so well mannered” and “charming”.
One person wrote on social media: “The HRH’s of Wales are raising their children to be respectful and well-mannered to all that they meet. Young HRH Prince Louis is learning very well.” “I just love Louis,” another person commented.
Louis’s ‘grown up’ behaviour
Wearing a double-breasted suit, Louis mirrored his well-behaved older sister, 10-year-old Princess Charlotte, as they waved in union to crowds, before waiting patiently by his mother, Kate’s side, ahead of the service beginning.
Even after the service, which typically lasts over an hour, Louis still appeared to be on his best behaviour.
© Samir Hussein./WireImageAs the family departed the service, Louis performed the perfect royal handshake as he bid farewell to the Dean of Windsor, Christopher Cocksworth. After the service, the family typically returns to Windsor Castle to enjoy a traditional roast lamb lunch.
Other royals in attendance on Easter Sunday included Louis’s older brother, Prince George, 12, King Charles, and Queen Camilla. They were followed by Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, James Wessex, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling.
Peter’s daughters, Isla and Savannah, were also in attendance, joined by Harriet’s daughter, Georgina Sperling, for the first time.

Cheeky Prince Louis’s greatest moments
During the late Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee celebrations in 2022, a four-year-old Prince Louis attracted global attention with his display of cheeky antics.

At one point, he even put his hand over her mouth, after which Mike Tindall sternly gave him an “I’m watching you” gesture. His sensible older sister, Charlotte, was even forced to give him a talking to when he waved too much during a carriage procession.
During Trooping The Colour, he was pictured with his hands over his ears as the Spitfires went past, with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth looking greatly amused beside him.
Even as recently as the VE celebrations last May, Louis showed he still has his cheeky nature when he was seen playfully teasing his older brother George by mimicking him swishing his hair.
And at the Christmas service in 2025, Louis’s main focus was on a giant tub of Lindor chocolates gifted to him by a royal fan, eagerly grabbing them out of his father’s hands.
