Former Hallmark Star Lori Loughlin Takes Another Step Forward After Split & Legal Issues

Former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin and her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are another step closer to officially going their separate ways, at least when it comes to home ownership. The house they owned together that has been on the market since before they announced their split has finally sold.

The former “When Calls the Heart” star and her husband of nearly 30 years split in October, TMZ reported.

Lori Loughlin & Mossimo Giannulli’s Hidden Hills Home Has Sold
According to TMZ on November 10, Giannulli and Loughlin have officially sold their Los Angeles, California home. The property, located in the Hidden Hills area, shows on Zillow that the closing took place on November 10. The final sale price was $12,650,000.

The final sale price on the Hidden Hills estate is significantly lower than what Loughlin and Giannulli originally sought. The couple initially listed the property for sale in February at an asking price of $16,500,000. In July, the price was dropped nearly 10 percent to $14,950,000.

As of October 22, there was a contingent contract in place on Loughlin and Giannulli’s home. The sale shifted to pending on October 29. The couple first bought the home in 2020. At that time, the listing price was $10,550,000.

The home is located in the Ashley Ridge Estates area of Hidden Hills. It has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and has nearly 12,000 square feet of living area.

The contemporary farmhouse estate includes a swimming pool, spa, BBQ area, bocce ball court, and playground in the backyard. It is nestled in a private, gated neighborhood with stunning mountain views. Inside, residents can enjoy a fully equipped gym and home theater, as well as a wine cellar and chef’s kitchen.

‘WCTH’ Fans Could Still Potentially See Loughlin Return

The pair purchased the home in the midst of their college admission scandal. In August 2020, the BBC reported that Loughlin took a plea deal that resulted in a prison term of two months. Gianninni also took a plea deal and he received a sentence of five months. Both plea deals also involved fines and community service hours.

As Entertainment Weekly shared in May 2019, Loughlin was written out as Abigail on “When Calls the Heart” after her initial arrest. She may be gone, but she hasn’t been forgotten, and it seems the door is not necessarily forever closed to a return.

Hallmark star Erin Krakow was recently asked by Us Weekly if Loughlin could ever return to “When Calls the Heart.” Interestingly, Krakow responded, “I sure hope so.”
