Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley Reveal Reason Behind Feud With Lindsie Chrisley

Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley detailed their family’s estrangement from sister Lindsie Chrisley on the latest episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.

The Chrisleys are sharing the reality behind their feud with one of their own.

Savannah Chrisley recently broke down an alleged fight between estranged sister Lindsie Chrisley and their family’s matriarch Julie Chrisley—who shares Chase Chrisley, 29, Savannah, 28, and Grayson Chrisley, 19, with husband Todd Chrisley, who is also dad to Lindsie, 35, and Kyle Chrisley, 34, with ex Teresa Terry—that led to Lindsie’s sudden exit from their reality show Chrisley Knows Best.

“I remember vividly one day she and my mom got into an argument because Lindsie went to wake up Chloe [Chrisley] out of bed to do a social media post with her, and Chloe was already in bed,” Savannah shared on the Sept. 2 episode of the family’s Lifetime docuseries The Chrisleys: Back to Reality of Kyle’s daughter Chloe, 13, whose mother is Kyle’s ex Angela Johnson. “Now if somebody did this to Lindsie’s child, she would have gone berserk.”

Savannah went on, “My mom went to my dad, told her, ‘This can’t be happening. Chloe’s on a schedule,’ and Lindsie just started going absolutely insane. Yelling, screaming and calling my mom every name under the sun. ‘You stupid effing blah blah blah.’”

The Growing Up Chrisley alum noted that “that’s when Lindsie’s time on the show came to an end.”

E! News has reached out to Lindsie’s rep but has yet to hear back.

After the episode of Back to Reality played a clip of Lindsie recounting her version of events during an appearance on The Dr. Phil show in which she claimed that “the altercation escalated and [Julie] shoved me at my neck,” Chase said her story was full of “all this bulls–t.”

“I’m just so paranoid about strangers being close to me,” he went on. “After blood will screw you over, then a stranger definitely will.”

The trailer for the Chrisley’s new show, which comes three months after their parents were pardoned of their tax evasion crimes by President Donald Trump, had previously teased that the family would be addressing their bad blood with Lindsie on the series while alluding to allegations that she cooperated with the government in its original case against Todd and Julie.

“The prosecutors read the letter Lindsie wrote to the FBI,” Savannah explained in the teaser. “We’re no longer family. Lose our last name.”

Her younger brother Grayson seemingly agreed, saying, “We’ve had own family members betray us.”

Meanwhile, for her part, Lindsie—who is still in contact with her grandmother Nanny Faye—shared that she hasn’t had any contact with Todd and Julie in over a year.

“I have not seen my dad in quite some time and I have had no contact,” she explained on her podcast Southern Tea back in March. “And that’s all I’m going to say for that.”

Todd Chrisley & Julie Chrisley

Todd Chrisley is the patriarch of the Chrisley family.

He was born in Georgia in April 1969 and raised in South Carolina. He and first wife Teresa Terry welcomed daughter Lindsie Chrisley in 1989 and son Kyle Chrisley in 1991 before splitting a few years later. After their breakup, Todd wed Julie Chrisley (born in South Carolina in January 1973) in 1996.

Together, they added to their family with the births of kids Chase Chrisley, Savannah Chrisley and Grayson Chrisley and the adoption of Kyle’s daughter Chloe Chrisley. They also went through challenges, including Julie’s 2012 breast cancer battle (she’s now cancer-free).

As Todd said on the premiere of Chrisley Knows Best—a show that followed the family’s ups and downs as well as their rich lifestyle in Atlanta and later Nashville—he made “95 percent” of their money through his real estate business before entering reality Tv. As for Julie, she was working at a bank when she started dating Todd.

Chrisley Knows Best ran from 2014 to 2023 and led to spin-offs like Growing Up Chrisley and What’s Cooking With Julie? as well as other media ventures like the family members’ podcasts.

In 2022, Todd and Julie were convicted of fraud and tax crimes, and they were originally sentenced to 12 and seven years in prison, respectively (with him being held in Florida and her being behind bars in Kentucky). The couple had pleaded not guilty.

In May 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned Todd and Julie and they were released from prison.

Born in September 1989, Lindsie is Todd’s eldest daughter from his marriage to Teresa.

She attended Georgia State University, where she met now-ex husband Will Campbell. They wed in 2012, and she graduated and gave birth to their son Jackson that December. Two years later, Chrisley Knows Best premiered.

Lindsie appeared on the series for five seasons, where viewers saw how Todd and Will didn’t get along. She and Will filed for divorce in 2016, and she left the show in 2017.

In the following years, there was public fallout between her and her family. It wasn’t until 2022 that Lindsie, Todd, Julie and Savannah reunited publicly on crossover episodes of their podcasts.

“God knows I wasn’t prepared for this estrangement,” he said on Chrisley Confessions. “But I will tell you now looking back, we needed this estrangement.”

However, their reunion was short-lived. In a March 2025 episode of her podcast The Southern Tea, Lindsie said she hasn’t seen her dad “in quite some time.” The following month, she confirmed she’s also estranged from her siblings.

“We can live in the same space doing the same things and not necessarily agree or align and it’s no hate, it’s no ill will,” Lindsie said on Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s podcast, Cate & Ty Break It Down in April 2025. “We just don’t serve each other in each other’s lives.”

But after Julie and Todd were pardoned in May 2025, Lindsie wrote on Instagram Stories, “With God all things are possible.”

Kyle Chrisley

Kyle, born in August 1991, is Todd’s eldest son from his former marriage to Teresa. In November 2012, he became father to daughter Chloe, whose mother is his ex Angela Johnson. But in 2016, Todd and Julie adopted Chloe.

While Kyle appeared on only the first season of Chrisley Knows Best (aside from a brief cameo in 2021), his past arrests and rocky relationship with his family (which involved them being estranged and reuniting at various points in time) continued to make headlines. He’s also spoken candidly about his mental health journey and battle with addiction, sharing in a 2019 Facebook post that he’s sober.

In 2021, Kyle wed Ashley Nelson and became a father to her kids Haiden and Mackenzie.

As for where Kyle stands with Todd and Julie, he expressed his hope to reconnect with them after their return from prison.

“I know they can’t wait to get home and just be with family,” he told E! News in May 2025, “and I’m going to remain hopeful that another reconciliation is possible.”
