Alicia Witt Looks Back at ‘Dream’ Hallmark Movie Ahead of Double Feature

While Alicia Witt is now considered a beloved Hallmark alum, the actress and singer still treasures her memories on the network.

In fact, Witt recently posted a gallery on Instagram with throwback photos from her promo tour for “Christmas Tree Lane” in 2020. Alongside her co-star, “Three Wise Men and a Baby” actor Andrew Walker, Witt reminisced about her time on set.

“Memories!!” Witt wrote in the caption on Instagram. “My 2020 movie ‘Christmas Tree Lane’ is airing again tonight on @hallmarkchannel, followed by 2013’s ‘A Very Merry Mixup,’ my first holiday movie for the network.”

In three of the photos, Witt and Walker are rocking the red carpet together. She is wearing an army green trench coat, jeans and black boots while Walker wore gray trousers, a striped button-down and a dark grey coat.

In another picture, Witt is wearing a gorgeous off-the-shoulder blue gown while playing the piano onstage.

“You can hear me play 2 original songs I wrote in CTL, which i also wrote the story for and produced,” Witt continued, referring to her songs on the movie, titled “Why Christmas” and “Christmas Will Never End.”

“Working with @awalkk35 and the entire beautiful cast and crew was a dream,” she concluded.


Fans Are Begging Alicia Witt to Return to Hallmark

In the comment section, fans can’t get enough of the throwback, and are joining her in celebrating the movies, as well as the upcoming double feature.

“Your Christmas movies are my favorites ! Especially this one and ‘A very merry mix up’!! ❤️,” wrote one commenter. “‘A Very Merry Mixup’ is a forever Christmas movie classic! ❤️🎄” echoed another fan.

“Love this movie and song! Hope to see you back soon! ❤️” wrote one fan encouraging her to come back to Hallmark. “Hopefully, you can return to Hallmark with a new movie,” echoed another fan.

As a reminder, Witt has starred in nine Hallmark productions over the years, including “Backyard Wedding,” “The Mistletoe Inn,” and “Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane.”

Her last movie on the network was “Christmas Tree Lane” in 2020. In it, Witt plays music store owner Meg as she fights to save her street from demolition and ends up falling for a man who worksfor the company she’s been fighting all along.

Since leaving Hallmark, Witt has starred in many projects, per IMDb, including Netflix’s “I Care a Lot,” “Switch Up” and “Longlegs.”
