The Below Deck Mediterranean chief stewardess offered the update on Thursday, October 23, more than a year after launching her canned beverage brand, Drop. Aesha and her team initially released the drinks in Australia with plans to expand to other countries, including the United States, throughout 2025.

Why Aesha Scott’s alcohol brand, Drop, isn’t available in the U.S.
With two months left before the end of the year, it remains unclear when Drop will finally be available in the States. Aesha explained the situation in an Instagram Story, saying the drinks were finally ready to go, but the U.S. rollout was delayed because of the ongoing government shutdown.

“Drop USA Update: I know it’s taken lot longer than anticipated, I wanted to make sure the recipes were all PERFECT before I launched them,” she wrote. “We finally got them great, had the new flavour labels drawn up, and now that we have submitted them, the label regulatory agency has shut down due to the govt [government] shut down. So until they open we can’t get the labels approved.”

She continued: “But no worries, fingers crossed they open soon and we can get to canning and distributing… Good things take time!”

Aesha spoke about Drop in a 2024 interview with The Sun, revealing how she got involved with the alcoholic beverage industry. She told the outlet she was working with a team to develop a line of activewear and swimsuits; however, she quickly realized the project didn’t resonate with her.

“There’s a part of me that’s just so not into it,” she said about the fashion venture. “Because I’m like, Oh my God, every f—king vanilla influencer does that s–t. It was something that I wasn’t that passionate about.”

She continued: “I love to sit in the sun with my friends, sip on something delicious, laugh, and have a good time.
