Savannah Chrisley is the latest celebrity to open up about her experience with plastic surgery. The daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley shared why she went under the knife for liposuction.
The Chrisleys have been sharing their lives with fans since they began appearing on TV in 2014 with their TV show Chrisley Knows Best.
From 2023 until May of this year, Todd and Julie Chrisley were behind bars after being sentenced for tax evasion and fraud.
While her parents were incarcerated, Savannah Chrisley focused on fighting for their release.
Now that they are out of prison, her content is shifting focus and Savannah is sharing new details that were not previously made public.
In a recent episode of Unlocked podcast, the 27-year-old admitted that she had liposuction and shared details about what led her to the procedure.
Her plastic surgeon Dr. Charlie Galanis also joined her for the episode.
When describing what led her to liposuction, she explained, “I was going through all kinds of s**t with my endometriosis.”
According to Mayo Clinic, endometriosis is “an often-painful condition in which tissue that is similar to the inner lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.”
The reality star detailed side effects that she had from treating the condition.
“I had taken this medication and I gained 40 pounds in like three months,” recounted the podcaster. “It was crazy. And I had to do this like campaign shoot and I hated how I looked.”
While she did not share the exact time, Savannah revealed that she chose to do liposuction around Christmas time a few years earlier.
She described, “I went to Beverly Hills, mom went with me, I did the surgery.”
Dr. Galanis “cursing like a drunken sailor” in the recovery room.
Savannah spilled, “And I kept saying you were hot.”
“My mother was like, Savannah, shut up,” she laughed.
“Speaking from personal experience, when I got my lipo done, I felt like, when you can look in the mirror and see a difference, it made me want to live healthier,” she emphasized.
Savannah added, “When I saw the results, I was like, oh my gosh. I wanna keep this up.”
She said she looked in the mirror and saw a “totally different human being.”
