Savannah Chrisley has had a hard year attempting to cope with her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley’s imprisonment.
Now, she’s admitting how hard it is to cope as another family member leaves home.
Savannah Chrisley has opened up about being a “wreck” as she processes her younger brother Grayson Chrisley leaving home.
Grayson will be leaving from Savannah.
“My whole heart.. off to College you go!” Savannah shared on Instagram. “I’m so proud of you @graysonchrisley #universityofalabama.”
But on the latest episode of her podcast Unlocked, Savannah was less cheery.
“Trust me, it’s gonna be weird for me because I have said I am going I’m already starting to cry. I am going to be an absolute disaster,” she shared on the episode.
“It’s gonna be terrible. Like, I will probably just show up and just I’ll come do your laundry. We’ll go get lunch. We’ll do something because I just can’t.”
She asked her fans and followers for help during the process.
“Any parents that have had kids go off to college, like, please message me,” she requested. “Tell me how you got through it. Give me tips.”
She also opened up about her hardship on her Instagram stories.
“Why did no one prepare for for how hard this is going to be?😭” she said in an update later republished by People Magazine.
”Taking Gray to college on Sunday and I’m a wreck. My best friend … 😭. I’m so excited for him to go and make a life for himself … but boy is my heart breaking…”
Savannah has recently shared that Grayson and Chloe Chrisley feel “debilitated” by her parents’ imprisonment.
Earlier this year the reality star confessed that she had a hard time processing this new responsibility in her life.
During an episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah recalled the moment she found out she would become the sole provider for Chloe and Grayson.
“I will never forget,” Savannah recalled, per People Magazine. “It was right when my parents left.”
“We didn’t touch anything in my parents’ house till after they left so I moved all the kids’ stuff over to my house. Chloe’s room is like a disaster because we’re just trying to move everything in, and I had to find them clothes to go and visit [Todd and Julie] that weekend, and I just broke down,” she confessed.
She shared the details of her subsequent breakdown.
“[I] fell to the floor in her room and I just started crying,” she shared on the podcast. “And I was like, I am not my mom. Like, I don’t know how I’m gonna do this.”
Eventually, her only option was to “just do it,” Savannah recalled.
However, this shift has been affecting everyone in the family – including Chloe and Grayson.
According to Us Weekly, Savannah read a letter on the latest episode of her podcast. This letter was intended for the judge amid a potential resentencing for Julie.

Grayson will be leaving soon to attend the University of Alabama, according to a recent update from Savannah.

According to Us Weekly, Savannah read a letter on the latest episode of her podcast. This letter was intended for the judge amid a potential resentencing for Julie.
Savannah admitted that Chloe and Grayson are having a difficult time since Todd and Julie went to prison.
The former pageant queen read, “Chloe is struggling in school, despite the resources I’ve tried to provide. Both she and Grayson wrestle with anxiety and depression that sometimes leaves them debilitated.
I’m fighting with every ounce of my being to keep them from becoming another statistic. Children of incarcerated parents who lose their way.”
In the letter, Savannah pleaded why she believes the judge should reduce her mother’s prison sentence.
“They are brilliant, beautiful souls with the potential to change the world and I don’t want this world to break them. But I can’t do it alone. I need my mother. We need her,” she begged.
Unfortunately, as we now know, this letter was not enough to convince the judge.
