Heartbreaking news to share… we just can’t get a break
Todd Chrisley Speaks Out About Being ‘Broke’
When Todd and Julie Chrisley went to prison for fraud, it affected their entire business. There have been rumors that the Chrisley family now has no money and Todd finally responded to the allegations.
Todd Chrisley has a message for those trying to watch his wallet.
In a recent appearance on Nightline, the reality TV patriarch spoke about a topic that has been on many fans’ minds: the Chrisley family’s finances.
He and Julie Chrisley were only recently released after serving over two years behind bars.
Juju Chang bluntly told Todd, “You know a lot of people think you’re broke now and that your life is going to be completely different.
“Where would they get that?” questioned the 56-year-old. “Where would you get that?”
He continued, “Do you know how much is in my bank account?”
“No, would you like to tell me?” Juju replied.
Todd did not want to share that information and pointed out, “But, it’s not what you just referenced.”
Savannah interjected, “But I think it’s like everyone else, like you guys got out and you immediately started working.”
“You’re building your life back,” she said of her parents. “And luckily, opportunities have come.”
“By the grace of God,” said Todd and his wife agreed, “Absolutely.”
They have opened up about adjusting to life on the outside and even dropped a surprising detail on Chrisley Confessions 2.0.

“I’ve actually talked to a few of the women that I was in prison with that they’re already home,” Julie shared on the podcast.
“We all have this general consensus that — it’s kind of weird to even say it,” she hesitated.
“No, it’s not weird. Life is rougher than prison life,” Todd chimed in.
“It is so horrific, the conditions that you’re there for, but that’s from a physical standpoint,” elaborated the father of six. “But from an emotional and psychological standpoint, it is harder dealing with day to day.”
Julie shared useful advice she received when she was first imprisoned.
“People told me this when I first got there: you can’t live out there and in here at the same time,” the 52-year-old shared on the podcast.
