The return of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Deckhand Chase Lemmacks has First Officer Gary King sweating, and he’s being called out for his feud with Chase. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is halfway through, and it has already been a wild ride. Between Gary’s poor leadership and unaccountibility taking center stage and crew romances being a hot topic, season 5 has been entertaining. Now, Chase’s return will shake things up even more.

Chase has showcased that he has a strong work ethic, and Gary even underscored this in the midst of berating Chase’s personality and challenges to his authority. However, Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans are hanging onto Gary’s insults and throwing them right back at him.

Another viewer in the YouTube video wrote, “Gary is so gross.. He thinks so much of himself. Gripping the girls and a bully. Leave Chase alone.” It seems BDSY fans are unimpressed by Gary’s attempts at throwing shade at Chase, and that Chase is a welcome addition to season 5.
Since Gary obviously feels some type of way, the potential for drama is there. The drama could manifest on deck as Gary and Chase are back working together, or it could come by way of crew drama involving Chase taking the female crew members’ interest away from Gary.
