The Below Deck Mediterranean alum is officially a dad and is having so much fun with his baby daughter.
Chef Dave White has been up to a lot since serving as the head chef on Below Deck Mediterranean back in Season 7. The cookbook author and caterer is not only married, but he is officially a dad after he and his wife, Holly, welcomed their baby daughter into the world earlier this year.

Dave took to Instagram on Feb. 13, where he officially introduced his daughter, Juliette. In the video, the UK-born chef can be seen holding his baby girl while making “a little katsu curry,” pushing the tot in a stroller around their Florida neighborhood, and capturing so many of their sweet, first moments together. “Meet Little Juliette,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
The Chopped champion is also getting the hang of multitasking while parenting. He took to Instagram on April 13, where he held Juliette in his arms after cooking various meats on his smoker, while they were both dressed in Manchester United gear. “It’s game day, my baby girl,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Brisket and my big red.”
Captain Sandy Yawn took to the comments of the post, where she left a red heart emoji, showing her love for the new dad. “Right back at ya,” Dave wrote in reply, leaving a red heart emoji in return to the Below Deck Med boss.
How Dave White celebrated his wife, Holly, on Mother’s Day
Dave recently celebrated his wife and his own mom on Instagram in honor of Mother’s Day. The Salted: A Recipe Book with a Story to Tell author posted a series of photos of his wife and his mom holding Juliette, in addition to showing off how he and Holly have been able to handle parenting while going out to eat and traveling the world.
“Happy Mother’s Day, ladies,” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Thank you for everything you both do, day, night, and early hours of the morning. Bloody rock stars.”
Captain Sandy Yawn says Dave White is the “best chef”
Although Dave only appeared on one season of Below Deck Med, he received some high accolades from Sandy, who has worked with many different chefs with very different personalities throughout the past nine seasons of the show. Sandy sang Dave’s praises during the Below Deck Med Season 7 reunion, which aired on Bravo in November 2022.
“He worked nonstop. Dave’s the best chef we’ve ever, ever had on Below Deck,” she said, two years before Dave catered her wedding to wife, Leah Shafer.
