ROYAL SURPRISE! William, Catherine With Children PREPARED Leaving London For Overseas Holiday

ROYAL SURPRISE🌟William, Catherine With Children PREPARED Leaving London For Overseas Holiday

Princess Catherine, as well as other royals embarking on a flight, will need to carry a black dress or other formal wear with them. This isn’t just so they have formal attire but in case any other royal dies during the journey.

This year could see the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—break from the tradition of recent years by planning a major holiday far from the UK. While it’s unlikely that Catherine, who has reportedly been unwell, will make the international trip, it’s impossible to say for certain until the last moment. Indeed, the 42-year-old princess has been known to surprise us lately. According to an insider, William and Catherine could be considering a third destination, with sources suggesting that if Princess Catherine is well enough, they may escape to Mustique, her favorite holiday destination, for some sunshine.

The private Caribbean island of Mustique was once a regular haunt for the Waleses. It was even the destination of baby George’s first overseas trip in August 2014. For years before the pandemic, the family would pack up, including longtime nanny Maria Teresa Turion Borrallo, as much mosquito repellent as they could fit into an Asprey steamer trunk, and jet off for a beach getaway. George has celebrated his fifth and sixth birthdays on the island as well, highlighting its appeal as a family retreat.

While on Mustique, the Wales children enjoy activities like tennis and volleyball, and the family often visits the famed Basil’s Bar. Reportedly, Prince William’s drink of choice is a vodka cranberry, while Catherine opts for piña coladas. The island offers the family a rare chance to relax and let their hair down.

Interestingly, the palace has shown an ability to make such trips happen with remarkable agility in recent months. Should the family decide to travel internationally, it would signal a positive update on Catherine’s health.

Historically, the Wales family has also enjoyed skiing holidays. In 2016, they took George and Charlotte to the French Alps for their first skiing adventure, sharing charming family photos of the children in snowsuits. Last year, the family was spotted on a skiing holiday in Courchevel, France, during Easter.

In 2021, Kensington Palace revealed in their Christmas card that the Wales family had traveled to Jordan, further demonstrating their adventurous spirit. However, the current climate of 2024 has been far from normal for the family. If they do head off to unwind in Mustique, it would be a significant sign of recovery and optimism for Catherine.

One fascinating royal travel protocol is that Catherine and other members of the royal family must carry a black dress or formal wear on international trips. This tradition ensures they are prepared to address any royal deaths while abroad. The protocol dates back to 1952 when Queen Elizabeth II, then Princess Elizabeth, had to return from Kenya after King George VI’s sudden passing. At the time, she did not have a black dress packed, and one was brought to her plane before she disembarked in London. This practice remains an essential travel requirement for royals today.
