Princess Kate breaks silence with new statement ahead of TV appearance with George, Charlotte and Louis
The Princess of Wales has released a heartfelt statement considering the importance of her carol service ahead of her eagerly awaited Christmas Eve TV appearance.
On Christmas Eve at 7.30 p.m., ITV1 and ITVX will broadcast the special program “Royal Carols: Together at Christmas” service, which will include heartfelt homages to people and organisations that have provided consolation and assistance to those in need.
“Join us on @ITV and @ITVX for the Together at Christmas Carol Service at 7.30pm this evening” Catherine said in her statement.
“This service considers the value of empathy and love, as well as how much we depend on one another, particularly during our most trying moments. We are grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s festivities.”
The royal family’s involvement in the service, including Prince William, Catherine, and their three children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—will be highlighted on the show.

The 42-year-old Catherine has also recorded a voiceover for the program’s opening, reading passages from a letter she wrote about empathy and love that was part of the order of service for the event.
She will say: “The Christmas story makes us think about other people’s feelings and experiences.”
“It also reflects our own vulnerabilities and reminds us of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences.”
“Above all else, it encourages us to turn to love, not fear. The love that we show ourselves and the love we show others. Love that listens with empathy, love that is kind and understanding, love that is forgiving, and love that brings joy and hope.”
It was recently made public that the Princess enlisted the assistance of the distraught Lady Gabriella Windsor, whose husband passed away earlier this year, in organising her carol service.
It is also known that during the summer, Catherine extended an invitation to Lady Gabriella to join her team in planning her yearly event.

A source close to Lady Gabriella stated: “She was very touched and grateful to the Princess to be asked to contribute to her very special concert, and that she felt honoured to do so.”
Catherine is understood to have been incredibly grateful for her contribution.
Kate, the Princess of Wales, is sharing a personal message focused on love and unity ahead of Christmas.
Kate, 42, recorded a voiceover introduction for the television broadcast of her annual Christmas carol service that will air on Christmas Eve in the United Kingdom.
“Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year,” Kate says in the message. “It is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all.”
“It is when we stop and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart, with love, kindness and forgiveness, so much of what the Christmas spirit is all about,” Kate continues, adding that Christmas is a time that people remember how connected we all are.
“The Christmas story encourages us to consider the experiences and feelings of others,” she says. “It also reflects our own vulnerabilities and reminds us of the importance of giving and receiving empathy, as well as just how much we need each other in spite of our differences.”
Kate’s Christmas carol service took place this year on Dec. 6 in Westminster Abbey.
It was attended by members of the royal family — including Kate’s husband, Prince William and their three children — as well as over 1,000 invited guests.
This year’s service was designed to “shine a light on individuals from all over the U.K. who have shown love, kindness, and empathy towards others in their communities,” according to Kensington Palace.
Kate’s attendance at the service was seen as a major milestone in her recovery since announcing in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
