Prince William Sends Important Message Amid Emotional Celebration For George Charlotte Louis

It’s a message William passes on to his kids. “When you are that young you are curious, you just want to know what is going on,” he says. “We saw homeless people on the streets and you just ask, ‘Why are they sitting there?’ and my mother would talk a bit about why they were there and it definitely had a big impact.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are known for their modern approach to parenting and are likely to embrace some Halloween fun with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, during their October half-term break from Lambrook School. Typically, the family retreats to their countryside home in Norfolk, where their children may join local festivities. This year, nearby Sandringham Estate, owned by their grandfather King Charles, is offering a “Make Your Own Pumpkin House” activity from October 29 to 31, inspired by Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper.

Carole Middleton, Princess Catherine’s mother, has shared insights into the family’s Halloween traditions, including costume shopping at local stores. Last Halloween, Catherine was seen taking her children trick-or-treating around their London neighborhood, proving her down-to-earth parenting style. In January 2023, Jay Rutland, husband of Tamara Ecclestone, mentioned that Catherine had personally visited his home for trick-or-treating with her kids, showcasing the royal family’s relatable and friendly approach.

Prince William’s schedule remains busy, as he prepares to release a new documentary during the children’s half-term break. The film, part of his “Homewards” initiative, is dedicated to ending homelessness in the UK. Inspired by Princess Diana’s compassion, William has shared that he’s already begun educating his own children on the issue. In the documentary, he reflects on his mother’s influence, recalling how she first took him to a homeless shelter at age 11. He noted, “When you’re young, you’re curious, and my mother made sure we understood why people were on the streets.”

The new documentary, which will stream on Disney+ starting November 1, sees William embracing his role as a compassionate advocate, engaging with people at a Christmas lunch and helping with cleanup duties. The film’s release also places William in the spotlight alongside his brother, Prince Harry, whose projects, such as Heart of Invictus and Harry & Meghan, have been featured on Netflix. The film reflects the Prince of Wales’ dedication to his family and causes, resonating with Diana’s legacy while shaping his children’s worldviews in the process.
