Prince George JUST Breaks Silence And SHOCKS Everyone About His New School Amidst Feud

Currently, all three children are studying at Lambrook School. The prep school serves children from ages three to 13 up until they reach year eight. George had previously attended Thomas’s Battersea school in London and was enrolled in Willcocks Nursery School.

After the festive period, it’s time for the kids to get back to school, something even royalty doesn’t get out of. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are all preparing to go back after a fun-filled Christmas break.

For eldest George, it’s his penultimate year. He’s done most, if not all, of his entrance exams for his next school. The second in line to the throne is currently in Year Seven at Lambrook School in Berkshire, where he’s joined by his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have made a pivotal decision regarding the future of their children, carefully selecting their next school to ensure their security and well-being. According to a source at the prestigious Wiltshire institution, they have finalized Marlborough College for George, the former school of the Princess of Wales.

It is reported that the future King and Queen of Britain have chosen this school for all three young royals. A well-placed insider at the school said, “Parents have been talking about nothing else, and discussions have really ramped up in recent weeks, but security is obviously a massive consideration.”

Another source explained that Prince George will have to be housed in an in-house surrounding the central courtyard of the school. The houses are scattered down the Bath Road, and these present more of a security risk as they are just big houses on their own and involve a lot more walking around, which is the downside of Marlborough.

To note, Prince George and his parents visited Marlborough College in 2023. Also, Princess Catherine’s brother, James Middleton, attended the school. It has been said that it would be good news for the royal siblings as a trio to receive an education from the same college.

Speaking on the royal children’s current establishment, expert Jenny says: “I always thought it was a wise decision to keep the children together during their early school years, and I think that has very much proven to be the case, especially during this past difficult year. It must have been a huge comfort for the three of them to be together at school when life at home was so full of anxiety, however much William and Catherine tried to shield them. It seems that school has protected them well and has been admirably discreet about what’s been happening. The children deserve that protection at this unnerving time for them.”

The young prince’s schoolmates call him “PG” in a nod to his initials, Prince George. However, it’s not only his schoolmates who call him by this nickname; it has reportedly caught on at home too. His parents are also said to call their son PG or PG Tips, like the British tea brand.

Prince George isn’t the only royal with a sweet nickname. Prince William reportedly has one for his daughter, Princess Charlotte. At the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show, he was overheard calling her “Mignonette,” which is French for “cute.” Another woman who met the couple said Princess Charlotte’s parents also call her “Lottie.” The woman added, “I said he is four, and she said, ‘Oh, he’s the same age as Lottie.’”

As for Prince Louis, Princess Catherine let slip his nickname during a royal engagement with the Scouts. While toasting marshmallows, she said, “Pop that on the fire, Lou Bug.” Prince Louis was keen to tuck into his toasted marshmallow, with his mom and a Scout leader helping him pull it together. William remarked, “You won’t hear a peep out of him now.”

In the last few years, several reports suggested that the parents of the Wales trio were torn between Eton College in Berkshire and Marlborough College in Wiltshire, their alma maters, respectively. It is reported that George will celebrate his 12th birthday in July and could follow in the footsteps of his mother and father by moving to attend Eton College.

There’s always the possibility of traditions being changed. Expert Nicole argues, “William and Harry didn’t end up following in their father’s footsteps by going to Gordonstoun. That may be, but George could break the Eton mold and end up somewhere else.”
