Kate Chastain Once Rocked Dark Brunette Hair: See the Incredible Throwback Photo
The Below Deck alum often sports light blonde tresses, but we’re obsessed with her rocking this deep chocolate hue.
Since joining Below Deck for Season 2 in 2014, Kate Chastain has usually worn her long tresses in a lighter blonde hair color. At one time, however, she went to the dark side.
In an Instagram throwback post, Kate reflected on the early days of her career with a photo of herself and a pal. In the photo, Kate rocked a dark brunette hair color. “[T]he first month of my yachting career,” she wrote in the caption, showing off her stunning dark brown hair hue she wore in a long length with a beachy, tousled texture.
Honestly, we love Kate with both light blonde strands and dark brown locks.
Kate Chastain’s past hair colors and styles
In addition to the dark brunette color, Kate’s rocked a few different colors and styles over the years.
In 2016, when Kate appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, she rocked a light blonde hair look, pairing her bright tresses with an off-the-shoulder orange dress.
Still in 2016, Kate continued her sunny streak with the same color hair but wore it in one of her signature updos on another episode of WWHL.
In 2017, Kate was back in the Clubhouse for the Below Deck reunion. For the occasion, her hair took on a more integrated color with some lowlights. She wore her tresses in a half-up, half-down style for that occasion, teasing the front part of her hair for a smoldering look.
During another WWHL appearance in 2024, Kate looked stunning with a light brunette melt look with sandy blonde face-framing highlights and the same color spread throughout the middle and end pieces of her hair.
