Below Deck Mediterranean‘s Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher are expecting their first child together.
The couple confirmed the exciting news by issuing an exclusive statement to The Daily Dish: “We’re beyond excited to share our adventures with our tiny travel buddy.”
Gael initially hinted at the news on her Instagram page on March 30. The deckhand, who met Nathan on Season 9 of the Bravo series, posted a video of two stick figures dancing before getting joined by a smaller green stick figure. “Yep, you saw that right,” she captioned the post. “Now go ahead and speculate.”
Nathan expressed his excitement for the news in the comments section. “Excitement is real,” he wrote, along with a heart-eyes emoji and a red heart emoji.
Below Deck Med Season 9 chief stew Aesha Scott reacted to the news in a comment of her own. “BEYOND HAPPYYYY,” she wrote.
Her fiancé, Scott Dobson, added, “You’re having a green baby!?!? Congrats??”

The yachties have yet to reveal if they’re expecting a baby boy or girl, but Gael teased that an announcement is coming soon after they themselves learned their baby’s sex on Valentine’s Day.
How Gael Cameron initially teased her pregnancy back in January
Gael initially teased the baby news in her 2024 recap video, which she shared on January 10. In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment from the video, Gael can be seen cradling her stomach. In another snippet, she showcases a sonogram as well.
“I know a little late for the end of the year, but 2024 was hardly a year to forget,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “So many amazing times to reflect on: Covered [four] continents, became a dive instructor, got my MOY 200gt, landed on on your teli — Below deck [Mediterranean] S9 and reunited with my other half just to name a few.”
She added, “But also so many challenges and lessons served thoughout the joy. Coming off a bike in a head-on collision, scooping to some of the hardest emotional lows, and doing it alone are some of the parts you don’t see. But as I said, lessons… and there is nothing more valuable than an opportunity to grow.”
“So for that 2024, I thank you. For the friends, the opportunities, the highs, the lows and the lessons,” she concluded before hinting at the baby news once again. “2025, I know your going it to flip me on my head and flying kick me with brand new challenges but I honestly can not wait.”
