Captain Jason Addresses the Crew Shakeup on Below Deck Down Under: “Reset”

Captain Jason Chambers has let three crew members go (so far) on Below Deck Down Under Season 3, which he’s calling a “reset.”

The Katina captain took to his Instagram page on April 17 to share his thoughts on the season thus far.

“Halfway Time Reset. We definitely had our challenges this first half,” he said. “We went out there with all good intentions and we gave everything we had to get this far.”

The captain said his intention “was to let department heads learn to manage.” His current department heads are Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, chief stew Lara Rigby, and new Bosun Nate Salmon.

“However, not everything works out the way you want in life,” Jason continued. “We now have to reset and finish off the season with a positive attitude and respectful approach to achieving a great working environment.”
