Read Wihan’s Love Letter to Adair After “Kissing Too Many Girls” on Below Deck Down Under

Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under may have hit the high seas on motor yacht Katina, but at this point, it should better be known as the Love Boat. Deckhand Harry Van Vliet and stewardess Brianna Duffield started a boatmance but are now running into a wall in Episode 7. Deckhand Johnny Arvanitis put the moves on new sous chef Alesia Harris on night one, and she admitted she had “good fun” while dancing with him, despite rejecting his kiss. And after smooching both head chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and stewardess Marina Marcondes de Barros, bosun Wihan Du Toit had decided his heart lies with another: deck/stew Adair Werley. But there’s one big problem.
“He’s in love with Adair,” chief stewardess Lara Rigby said. “The thing is, Adair doesn’t know!”
In Episode 7, Wihan set out to fix that problem by declaring his love to Adair in a letter, writing, “To feel those crazy butterfly feelings in my tummy again — your presence lights up a room.”

Who is Wihan Du Toit dating?
Wihan’s love triangle has expanded into a love square — despite his best efforts. On Episode 6, on the crew night out, he “broke up” with Marina and Tzarina, and confessed he had feelings for Adair. But then the same night, he once again shared a steamy kiss with Tzarina, which didn’t sit right with Lara.
“You did everything right. You were honest. And now you’ve gone back to square one,” Lara told him.
Wihan declared that “[Tzarina] knows where she’s standing with me,” but Lara warned him, “Don’t mess with my girls.”
Later, Lara told Wihan he was “kissing too many girls.”
When Wihan defended his actions, and pointed out there’s six women on the boat, Tzarina replied, “And you’re going to go through all of them, I’m sure.”
Tzarina admitted she still had a crush on the bosun, despite the “breakup.”
“At this point, Wihan and I are just flirty friends that probably shouldn’t drink around each other,” Tzarina said in her confessional. “Wihan is obviously a sh—t stirrer. But let’s be clear: I would definitely hook up with him.”
Wihan writes love letter to Adair
Wihan took the plunge and told Adair he was “into” her, and she answered, “Oh, that’s sweet.”
But she pointed out she and Wihan aren’t exactly compatible in her confessional.
“Oh my god. Wihan and I are a great team, but, he just doesn’t really seem like my type of guy,” she said. “I want my guy to have a nice Southern accent, and drive a big lifted truck. You think Wihan’s going to pull up and roll the window down? No. Wihan drives a mini-Cooper.”
Deciding he needed to put in even more effort, Wihan wrote Adair a love letter, despite her telling him to “go slow.”
“Adair, while country music is playing in the background, clearly those beautiful green eyes and beautiful smile have taken over, and all I’m thinking about is the next time I’m seeing you again,” he wrote.
Later, Wihan read more of his letter out loud to Harry.
“Adair, you speak your mind and have no filter, and that’s what I love the most,” Wihan wrote. “Never change as that is what makes you, you. Your accent makes my heart skip a beat. Wow. You’re special.”
After Wihan slipped the love letter under Marina and Adair’s door, Marina found it, and joked, “There’s three pages? That’s a very Ross from Friends kind of vibe.”
Adair seemed mostly unimpressed by the letter, and when she saw Wihan again, only said, “Thank you. We’ll talk more later.”
Thinking that meant he still had a shot, Wihan decided to put together a cheese plate and ask Adair on a date.
But in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Harry admitted Wihan’s pursuit of Adair was never going anywhere.
“I mean, honestly, the whole time, Adair’s not really focusing on him. It’s all one-sided,” Harry said. “Wihan’s writing a letter. Wihan’s telling her that he likes her. And … she’s just trying to do a good job.”
Is Harry Van Vliet still dating Brianna Duffield?
Although Harry and Bri started a boatmance, Harry was in for a shock when he learned in Episode 7 Brianna was losing interest with his “go slow” method.
“I was hoping to kind of see where Harry’s head’s at, but eventually I’m probably going to get tired of this questioning game and walk away,” Bri said in her confessional.
Brianna later confessed to Lara she was uncertain about their future.
“Like, we went on a date, and then it’s just like, ‘Hey, bye.’ It might be fizzling,” she said.
Lara clued Harry in that he needed to “step it up again.”
“Obviously, at the moment, I’m doing the wrong thing. I’m not being as forward as I need to be,” Harry told The Daily Dish. “Which, watching back, I’m like, ‘Ah, s–t, is that what I’m like? Come on, Harry. I didn’t know that.’”
Harry decided to send a text to make sure Bri knew where he stood, writing, “I wish we had more time to talk while on charter. Your kisses and hugs are the best part of my day. Wish we could have a proper snuggle together.”
Brianna was relieved, texting back, “This made my day. I’m always looking forward to your kisses and hugs. I’d love to try and make that work.”
Harry hinted things will heat up again between he and Bri in Season 3.
“We get a bit more intimate, and you’ll have to wait and see,” he told The Daily Dish.
