OMG! Prince Louis Stole Spotlight In Incredible Dancing Moment, Catherine Left Speechless

He might still be only 5 years old, but Prince Louis has a big personality and has regularly delighted fans with his cheeky antics at royal occasions. The youngest Wales continues to charm both royal enthusiasts and casual observers alike during his recent public appearances, revealing a new side to his personality—one of growing maturity.

Louis last appeared in public at Trooping the Colour with his siblings, and often, we see Princess Charlotte in particular keeping an eye on him when the spotlight is on them. The prince seems to idolize his sister, though she might not be a huge fan of one of his childhood habits. Fans have not only noticed Louis’s development but also praised the parenting approach of Princess Catherine and Prince William.

During the event, the royal mum of three revealed to a well-wisher that Louis has developed a strong enthusiasm for dancing. She shared that he enjoys moving to music and quickly picks up new dance moves, often delighting the family with spontaneous performances at home. Witnesses noted how she beamed with pride while speaking about her son’s passion. Fans were thrilled by this glimpse into Louis’s personality, seeing him as a creative and energetic young royal with a love for the arts.

His love for dancing isn’t new. Back in 2023, he gained widespread attention during King Charles III’s coronation when a viral TikTok video captured him enthusiastically clapping, dancing, and grinning ear to ear during the historic event. The video garnered nearly 22 million views, showcasing his lively spirit to the world.

This wasn’t the first time Louis’s infectious energy captivated the public. During Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, his animated expressions and playful antics made headlines. Whether he was waving enthusiastically or covering his ears during the flypast, his unfiltered reactions brought a lighthearted and relatable touch to the grand royal occasion.

By June 2024, during his third Trooping the Colour event, Louis once again captured attention while riding in a carriage alongside his siblings and mother. He was seen giggling, scowling, and even playing with the window blinds. Later, on the Buckingham Palace balcony, he couldn’t resist bopping along to the music, much to the amusement of the crowd. Princess Charlotte, ever the responsible older sister, reminded him to settle down when his enthusiasm got a bit too exuberant.

This candid moment not only gave supporters a deeper insight into Louis’s character but also highlighted the importance Catherine and William place on fostering creativity and self-expression in their children. Moments like these make the Wales family so beloved, showing that beyond their royal status, they share a warm and relatable family dynamic that resonates with many.

As reported by pupil Ruby Davis, who won the individual reciting competition with a spectacular Welsh language performance at the 2024 Eisteddfod, she gifted the future king some friendship bracelets for his children. Prince William apparently explained that Prince Louis would be tempted to take Princess Charlotte’s bracelets for himself.

“That’s so sweet! Did you put them together yourself? They’re going to wear those—you’ll see them out and about,” the senior royal said before allegedly adding, “I’ll keep them away from Louis because he’ll try and steal all his sister’s bits.”

This desire to use or wear all your siblings’ things is something many people can relate to, and it seems that the father of three is eager to ensure that Prince Louis’s childhood habit doesn’t extend to these new friendship bracelets. It’s adorable to think he’s so eager to copy Princess Charlotte, even if she might not be as keen to have her brother trying to use her stuff!

This isn’t the first time Prince Louis has wanted the same things as his sister. He reportedly asked for a crown like hers when they previously went behind the scenes of Strictly Come Dancing with mom Catherine. Head judge Shirley Ballas has since claimed that Prince Louis was originally given some sweets before he made his cute request.

“When they visited, we had these crowns on set, so I thought it would be a nice idea to give the little girl a crown, and I got him a nice box of sweets. Then he went, ‘I want one of those’ and pointed at the crown. So we had to go and find him a little crown. They’re beautifully polite children. They had an absolute ball,” she said.
