Carole Middleton has joined Princess Kate, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on a trip abroad, according to new claims.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are understood to be enjoying a Caribbean holiday with their three children, joined by Kate’s mother Carole Middleton.

Carole, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday, had already been staying in the Caribbean for several days before the Wales family arrived, according to reports.

The family getaway marks their second holiday in recent months, following a New Year ski break.

Prince William, Princess Kate and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all travelled together on the same flight to their destination.

The Caribbean trip means Prince William will miss this year’s BAFTA ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall, despite being President of the organisation.

BAFTA insiders had hoped for a joint appearance from William and Kate, which would have marked the Princess’s return to the red carpet.

The Prince, 42, attended the ceremony solo last year.

Prince William became the BAFTA president in 2010.

Kensington Palace had previously confirmed the royal couple would not attend the star-studded event in 2025.

The Royal Family’s travel arrangements mark a departure from traditional protocol, which typically requires heirs to the throne to fly separately.

The three Wales children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six – all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, a stone’s throw away from their home, Adelaide Cottage.

George, Charlotte and Louis currently attend Lambrook School in WindsorPAThey are currently on half-term, allowing the family the opportunity to go on holiday together.

Princess Kate, 43, is currently performing a gradual return to royal duties after a “brutal” year of undergoing chemotherapy.

The Princess of Wales confirmed in January that she is now in remission, and has recently stepped out at the Royal Marsden Hospital, the National Portrait Gallery and a women’s prison in Cheshire.

There was no sign Princess Kate, 42, who has taken a break from royal duties following planned abdominal surgery in January, and her announcement that cancer had been found.

Kate discussed her “huge shock” at the discovery and said she began a course of “preventive chemotherapy” late in February.

Richard Eden wrote in the Daily Mail: “I’m told he popped into a pub in North Norfolk at the weekend with his mother-in-law, who is said to have been staying with the Prince and Princess of Wales for Easter.

“A patron tells me: ‘It was all very low-key, with no great fanfare. He just walked in and through the pub. He appeared to be with Carole Middleton.’

“There was no sign of Catherine, who is being treated for an undisclosed form of cancer.”

Carole, who previously owned the Party Pieces company, appears to be staying with the family while Kate undergoes her cancer treatment.

The dedicated mum previously told The Telegraph that her “family are paramount” and that they “come first”.

Royal expert Phil Dampier previously told Fabulous: “Prince George goes out a lot with his grandmother Carole. They go to the beach there and they are very close.

“Carole has taken the kids to Party Pieces and they played shopkeeper there with all the stock.”

Meanwhile, Kate’s kids all have their own rooms in Bucklebury Manor in West Berkshire, where Carole lives with her husband Michael.

The Wales family are spending the kids’ Easter holiday in Norfolk, before they go back to the £7,000-a-term Lambrook School in Berkshire.

Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, aren’t due to return back to school until April 17.

Along with their family dog, black cocker spaniel Orla, George, Charlotte and Louis have a host of animals at Anmer Hall.

Royal editor Ingrid Seward told Fabulous: “Their home, Anmer Hall has every amenity imaginable and is a small animal haven including guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and chickens.

“Then there is the pony Charlotte was given for her 7th birthday in 2022.
