Kensington Palace Makes Big Change Concerning Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton is facing a major change as she returns to public life as a working royal.

The Princess of Wales resumed her royal duties early this year after announcing that her cancer was in remission.

However, recent reporting from a royal insider indicates that, more than ever, the future queen is looking to focus on substance more than style. Meaning, Kensington Palace, will no longer be releasing Kate’s fashion details for all of her public appearances.

After the January announcement that her cancer is in remission, she has returned to public life and resumed her work with the Royal Foundation. She recently wrote a moving foreword for The Shaping Us Framework, a study released by the Royal Foundation’s Centre for Early Childhood.

“We must invest in humankind,” she urged. “As human beings, we are at our best when we are surrounded by love, safety, and security. We thrive when we are connected to one another; when we feel like we belong, feel seen, heard and accepted for who we are.”

In addition to her continued work with early childhood development, Kate has also joined her husband, Prince William, as a patron of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. She announced the news by sharing her “heartfelt” thanks to the organization for “looking after me so well during the past year.”

“We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional,” she wrote in a social media message.

“In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is, that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer,” she continued.

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery,” Kate concluded. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
