Prince Louis’s SASSY SIX-WORD Asides To Grandma Carole Has Royal Fans Burst Into Laughter
Prince Louis was on his very best behavior when he joined his elder siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte at their mother’s annual Christmas carol concert on Friday. Melting hearts as they stepped out to support their mum, there were many sweet and tender moments between the Wales family.
Prince Louie is loved by Royal fans across the globe for his cheeky antics at Royal events, whether that be his dancing, his relatable facial expressions, or his mischievous ways.
While his granddad is the King of the UK and Commonwealth, Louie is just like many other six-year-olds across the world, both on the Royal stage and at home in Windsor. It also seems that Louie’s cheeky ways are something that all his family are used to, including his grandparents Michael and Carol Middleton, which was overheard as the Royals enjoyed a family holiday.
Speaking recently on the Palace Confidential podcast, Royal editor Rebecca English revealed that the Little Prince had once been heard making an amusing six-word remark to his grandmother as they spent time together in Mustique. The comment was reportedly heard by a fellow holidaymaker who had witnessed Louie playing in the sea.
Carol was said to be trying to get Louis to come out of the water at the time, but he refused, saying, “No, I’m not coming—you’re old.”
It is not known how old the Prince was when he made the cheeky comment, but William, Catherine, and their children have traveled to Mustique on a number of occasions with Carol and Michael.
Despite the fact that Louis does have a cheeky side like most six-year-olds, the Young Prince is also seen to have a very loving side.
On their traditional trip to church in Sandringham, Royal fans couldn’t stop talking about Prince Louie having a striking resemblance to one family member. A visibly excited Louie couldn’t contain his glee as he accepted presents, including stuffed animals, from fans at Sandringham after the church service on December 25th.
Fans rushed to social media to share their thoughts on the six-year-old Royal bearing a shocking resemblance to his maternal grandfather, Michael Middleton.
Items Prince Louie gathered from well-wishers after the church service included a box of Cadbury’s chocolates, Christmas crackers, bouquets of flowers, and an assortment of stuffed toys. The Young Prince had his hands full of gifts as he showed his siblings and parents, and at one point, he struggled to hold onto everything he had received.
Over the years, Louie has been seen fondly holding hands with multiple family members, with one sweet moment in 2022 showing the Young Prince wrapping his arms around his mom. Other moments over the years have seen the six-year-old wanting to sit on the laps of numerous family members, including his granddad, King Charles.
At his mother Princess Catherine’s Together at Christmas Carol service, the youngest of the Wales children brought a sweet handwritten note to his grandparents, Carol and Michael Middleton, which added a heartfelt touch to the event.
Ahead—the adorable message Louie had for his Granny and Grandpa. It looks like Louie isn’t going to stop playing games with Granny and Grandpa Middleton anytime soon.

There were many sweet and tender moments between the Wales family. However, there was one sweet detail that almost went unnoticed during the service—Prince Louie was seen sidling up close to his mom as they sang carols.
The gap between six-year-old Louie and Charlotte, nine, was evident as the Prince chose to stand up close next to the Princess of Wales.
Ahead—what secret Louie kept from his sister, Princess Charlotte, so she’d be in for a big surprise at their mom’s annual Carol service.
(Hint: It has to do with dance.)
During a 2021 Good Housekeeping interview, Carol, who has reportedly been a Mary Poppins-type of figure to the Wales family this year, expressed her desire to stay active.
“I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground as long as I am able to—that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
The Princess’s parents, a palace insider previously told, are an enduring factor in the upbringing of their grandchildren. Carol and Michael are a constant presence in their grandchildren’s lives, often having George, Charlotte, and Louie over for sleepovers.
