Go Inside Aesha Scott’s “Beautiful” Date Night with Her Fiancé, Scott Dobson
The Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew shared a peek at the special outing before she headed to the U.S.
Aesha Scott’s last night in New Zealand was equal parts fun and sweet.
The Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew left her home country on January 12 for a weeks-long work trip to the United States. But before she packed her bags and said her goodbyes, Aesha spent some quality time with her fiancé, Scott “Scotty” Dobson.
So, what did they do on the eve of Aesha’s farewell? They took a trip to an Auckland beach and had a “beautiful picnic date night.”

Aesha shared the outing in a series of Instagram posts that showed her and her longtime partner sitting on the beach eating BurgerFuel gourmet burgers. Although the fare looked pretty tasty from the photos, Aesha described her meal as pretty “average.”
“I remember why I’m not huge on burgers or Burgerfuel,” she captioned a shot of her food. “Give me curry any day.”
Unsurprisingly, Aesha’s review received a bit of online pushback, which she addressed in a subsequent Story.
“For all the Burgerfuel fans that are horrified I don’t like it, I will admit I’ve only tried two of their burgers,” she said. “And two compliments I will give are the kumara fries are divine and the aioli it comes with is INSANE.”

Aesha also posted a few shots of the incredible beach views and a video of Scott taking a dip in the water, which was apparently too cold for Aesha.
“How are people so brave and just RELAX in cold water,” she captioned the clip. “I swam in a winter wetsuit this morning for 19 [degrees Celsius] water. I will never understand.”
Hours later, Aesha returned to Instagram to reflect on her and Scott’s Auckland getaway as she prepared to travel to the U.S.
“I thought that I would wake up exhausted today because we went to Aukland over the weekend… managed to get, like, an hour or two hours of sleep,” she said in the video. “I just couldn’t sleep at all last night, but I have woken up feeling so spritely. I feel wonderful. I think it’s because I had such a wonderful, lovely day with Scott yesterday and I’m just feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.”

Aesha and Scott got engaged in 2024 after several years of dating. The longtime yachtie said she and her fiancé were looking to tie the knot at the end of the year so their loved ones had enough time to prepare for the ceremony.
“We want to have a long engagement,” she told The Daily Dish last year. “We want to do it in the New Zealand summer, which is obviously over the Christmas time. We don’t want to do it this summer. We want to do it next summer. We wanted to enjoy this phase, and we also wanted to wait long enough that all of our American friends and family had enough time to save and to really turn it into a big holiday.”
