Prince Louis is proving that he is mummy’s little big boy during the Royal Family’s latest outing on Christmas day. The young royal joined his parents, siblings and several other members of his family on Christmas morning to attend service at St Mary Magdalene.

Thereafter, he joined the family to greet the crowd of gathered people, where he gratefully received such gifts as Cadbury chocolates, Christmas crackers, bouquets and an assortment of stuffed toys.

According to The Mail, one of the well-wishers offered Louis a Father Christmas headband, for which he showed his gratitude politely, before returning to his family and showing off his new gift.

Before the walk-about concluded, Louis, six, had received so many gifts that The Mail reported that he “appeared to struggle to keep hold of everything he had received.” At this stage, the young prince turned to his father for support, with reports quoting that he said, “Papa, can you carry some?”

Louis also shared some fond moments with his mother, like gripping her hand and getting his hair ruffled by her as a show of support.

For the second year in a row, Louis wore trousers to the walk-about, despite royal tradition dictating that he must wear shorts for public engagements until he turns 7.
