Hannah Ferrier’s little girl is growing up fast! Perhaps too fast for Hannah’s liking. The Below Deck Mediterranean alum indicated this via Instagram on Sunday, February 1, when she provided a quick update on her 5-year-old daughter, Ava Grace Roberts.

Hannah began by sharing a peek at her mommy-daughter afternoon at a local Australian garden center, where she photographed little Ava sitting on a bench with a stuffed animal and a few ceramic ducks.
“Lives for a garden centre,” Hannah captioned the Story.

The former Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie returned to Instagram several hours later to briefly reflect on Ava’s fast-approaching milestone.
“Now bawling my eyes out because Ava starts school tomorrow,” she wrote in a selfie taken from bed. “Being a parent is weird.”
Hannah teased the bittersweet chapter back in December, when she shared a picture of Ava in what appeared to be her school uniform. The little girl rocked a blue and white dress with a windowpane pattern, a navy ribbon around her collar, and a matching headband. Ava completed the adorable look with a backpack.
“She’s really going to school next year,” Hannah wrote, followed by the crying face emoji.

Hannah shares Ava with her husband, Josh Roberts, a commercial realtor whom she married nearly a year and a half after Ava’s birth.
The ex-chief stewardess addressed her relationship with Josh in the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 5 premiere, saying she had randomly met him at a bar.
“So in between charter seasons, I went home to Australia, I met someone,” she said in the June 2020 episode. “And this is definitely the first relationship that I actually see some longevity and potentially getting married and making babies and having a family.”
Just months after welcoming Ava, Hannah revealed if she and Josh had any plans for baby No. 2. The Australian native said her hubby was considering it, while she was still “on the fence.”
“I think I still have PTSD,” she told Us Weekly in May 2021. “I had a really traumatic labor. So, I don’t know.”

Hannah shed more light on her motherhood journey back in October, when she celebrated Ava’s 5th birthday. She posted a carousel that documented everything from Ava’s first days at home and early beach outings to their family vacations and relaxing nights at home.
“Happy 5th Birthday to my gorgeous, beautiful, independent, sassy favourite person to explore the world with Ava,” Hannah wrote. “Watching her grow has by far been the highlight of my life. Feel blessed everyday with the privilege of being her mum. Now as requested yesterday I’m off to try and find confetti that explodes as she blow out her birthday candles.”
After leaving Below Deck Mediterranean in Season 5, the Australian native launched the Ocean International Training Academy for new and aspiring yachties.
