Aesha took to her Instagram account on Jan. 21, where she gave a major look inside the procedure, which she is “soooooo happy” about. The New Zealand native can be seen showing off the before photo of the veins in her leg, lying in a doctor’s office, getting the procedure done, and recovering at her home.  “I got RFA (radio frequency ablation) done on my feeder veins and chemical foam done on my squiggly ones,” Aesha wrote in the caption of the post. “The RFA can only be done in straight lines, so any squiggly veins you need foam.”

She continued, explaining how each procedure works. “With RFA, the heat seals the vein shut,” she noted. “With the foam (they use foam because it shows up on the ultrasound better), it turns the soft hollow vein into solid fibrous cord which the body eventually breaks down and removes. I didn’t find this painful to get done, only lots of pinpricks, which are over fast.”

This cost her “roughly $3,400 USD for one leg.” “A lot of people wonder if it’s bad getting rid of veins, but these veins are so inefficient it’s no biggy to get rid of them,” she added.

The bride-to-be noted in the caption of the post that she got this procedure done for cosmetic purposes, not for health reasons. “They had been getting steadily worse for years and I wanted to nip it in the bud now,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “A lot of people have pain, mine weren’t painful, I did it more for aesthetic reasons. Call me vain (lol) but I didn’t like how much they showed on my leg the moment I got warm.”

She continued, revealing that she can’t vigorously exercise in the wake of the procedure, but has been encouraged to walk. She also admitted that she could get “skin staining” during the recovery process. But she’s hoping it goes away before her upcoming bachelorette party.

Details on Aesha Scott’s previous beauty procedures
But this isn’t the only beauty procedure that Aesha has gotten done. The Drop founder previously revealed that she got hyaluronic acid injections in her hands in December 2022, to reduce the look of aging and make them appear more full. “You know how I always go on about how I’ve got very geriatric hands? Look at these sunspots,” she said in an Instagram Story. “So I am going to [New Zealand’s Cashmore Clinic] today and I’m gonna get hyaluronic injections in my hands and try to make them look more like a 31-year-old.”

“You don’t need to massage it or anything, it just sits there and eventually it spreads out over your whole [hand],” she continued. “Then you go and get a second [injection] done in a month and…your hands will look more hydrated, more plump, more full of life.”
