Breaking news: Nanny Faye has finally confirmed what we all suspected in tears.
Chrisley Knows Best matriarch, Nanny Faye, suffered a devastating loss earlier this year. Back in October, her beloved dog crossed the rainbow bridge.
Now, two months later, Nanny Faye is talking about where she’s at now and if she will ever consider bringing another animal into her family. Keep reading to learn more about what the reality TV star had to say.
Chrisley Knows Best, Nanny Faye’s Dog
It was a sad time in October when Nanny Faye confirmed that her 15-year-old dog, Miley, passed away. Miley and Nanny Faye were best friends and she held on to her until the very end.
Despite the fact that the dog couldn’t see or walk, Nanny Faye dedicated herself to caring for the dog and getting her where she needed to be. According to People, Nanny Faye actually opened up about this on her granddaughter, Savannah Chrisley’s podcast.
After bringing up the dog’s passing Savannah said “I’ve said for a while, she couldn’t see, she couldn’t walk.”
However, of course, Nanny Faye wasn’t having any of that and instantly came to the defense of her furry baby.
“Don’t talk about her like that, cause listen, that breaks my heart. I carried her, and just like Jesus says, when you feel like I’m not with you, I’m carrying you. So that’s the way I did Miley. I carried her wherever she needed to go.”
Will She Ever Get Another Dog?
As for Nanny Faye’s future, it doesn’t look like there will be a new furry addition, especially not any time soon. According to the reality TV star, she only had one dog in this life and it was Miley.
So, she won’t be replacing her. In fact, after trying to talk to her about a new dog, Savannah was shut down by her grandma.
“It won’t be Miley. I had one husband and one dog. So I’m not going to have anything else,” Nanny Faye states.
Unfortunately, it seems like this loss is going to take a lot for the Chrisley Knows Best star to get over. And, anyone who has lost a pet knows what a terrible process it is. Only time will tell if Nanny Faye ends up changing her tune and brings a new furry baby into her family.
