Bridget Moynahan Shares Mysterious Post Following Ex Tom Brady’s Criticism Over Their Breakup
Bridget Moynahan seemingly subtly addressed her past with Tom Brady following a biting joke about their relationship in a new comedy special.
The model and actress posted a cryptic message on Instagram shortly after her ex-husband was targeted in the Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady on Netflix. The special, which aired on May 5, saw comedian Nikki Glaser make a pointed comment about Brady leaving Moynahan while she was pregnant in 2006.
“Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve done that s–t to you,” read the quote Moynahan shared on Instagram, to which she added in her caption, “So true.”
This was seemingly a response to the joke Glaser made regarding their relationship. “Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long, you retired then came back then retired, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend,” Glasser joked. “To be fair, he didn’t know. He just thought she was getting fat,” he added.
Brady went on and married Bündchen in 2009, and together they co-parent Jack along with their two children, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.
The Netflix roast not only revisited Brady’s personal life controversies but also saw him engage in a bit of banter himself, targeting Swifties in a joke about the loudness of Kansas City Chiefs’ fans, relating it to Taylor Swift’s young fanbase.
“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest. It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls,” Brady said, concluding with a swipe at the Chiefs’ track record: “In honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look at the Chiefs’ eras. Terrible for 50 years, good for five. Shake it off.” The comment drew backlash from Swift’s fans and was criticized on social media for being sexist.
