Chef Cloyce Martin has been open about his crush on Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and they could actually make a great couple. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is well underway, with drama bubbling underneath the surface. Deckhand Emma Crouch had to be dismissed by First Mate Gary King and Captain Glenn Shephard because of her laziness and incompetence. She was quickly replaced by former Deckhand Chase Lemacks, who attracted romantic interest from Diana Cruz and Danni Warren. However, Daisy and Chef Cloyce are a potential love match.
Chef Cloyce might only be 22 years old, but he expressed interest in Daisy after getting yelled at aboard the Parsifal III. He’s been into Daisy since the beginning, commenting on how her shouting and bossing around turns him on. While he’s significantly younger than Daisy, their vibe could work together, especially as Daisy continues to get over her boatmance with former Chief Engineer Colin Macrae. Would Gary get jealous all over again if Daisy and Chef Cloyce hooked up? Maybe.

Chef Cloyce even rightly pointed out that the relationship between Chef and Chief Stew was like a marriage, with communication between the pair being paramount to their success. Chef Cloyce clearly has a relationship with Daisy on his mind, and it’s not the wildest idea ever. There’s some chemistry there.

- Daisy is uptight on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. After her tumultuous love triangle with Colin and Gary last season, she’s a different person. She used to be a no-nonsense, sarcastic, and professional Chief Stew, but she’s flailing now. Her stews, Danni and Diana, can’t stand her. They refuse to listen to her instructions and whine whenever they can. However, she’s not the same fearless leader she was in previous seasons.
Daisy hasn’t seemed the same since the fallout of her boatmance with Colin.
Perhaps a romance with Chef Cloyce could loosen her up. She would be more fun, and it would keep Daisy’s mind off of managing the moody and troublesome Gary, who recently decided to stop drinking on the show. By becoming more lighthearted, Danni and Diana might be more receptive.

- Daisy has found herself at the center of male attention once again in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. Not only has Chef Cloyce shown interest in Daisy, but Gary has openly admitted in confessionals that he’s still attracted to Daisy, and Keith appears to have a little crush as well. Gary got super jealous last season when Daisy started hooking up with Colin, and it’s fair to assume he’d get huffy again if she engaged in a boatmance with Keith or Chef Cloyce.
