Nathan Fears for Future With Gael After Hooking up With Kizzi: “F–king Misbehaved”
Below Deck Mediterranean’s Nathan Gallagher used his much-needed day off between charters to blow off some steam. After the Bravado crew’s spicy pool day turned into a makeout session between him and Kizzi Kitchener, however, Nathan worried that he might’ve jeopardized his chances at rekindling his romance with Gael Cameron.

After returning to the yacht from a Barcelona beach club during Season 10, Episode 9, Nathan asked Joe Bradley, “What the f–k’s going on with me and Kizzi?”
So, his deckhand asked if he was “into it,” and Nathan replied, “I’m not mad into it.”
After all, the first-time bosun still had a certain then-ex-girlfriend on his mind.
“I miss Gael,” Nathan admitted to Joe. “I was thinking about her before I joined the boat, and now I’ve f–king misbehaved.”
In a confessional, he opened up more about how kissing Kizzi only intensified his pining for Gael.
“With Kizzi, it’s not anything romantic. It’s just trying to avoid reality,” Nathan explained, referencing his difficulties managing the deck team. “And, like, [I’m] thinking about how much I actually miss Gael. Everything about life is just, like, spinning around in my head. And I don’t even know where I stand anymore.”

Prior to the cast’s Barcelona pool day, Nathan told Aesha Scott that his plan was to get “f–ked up,” before going back to “focusing on the charter” and attempting to live up to Captain Sandy Yawn’s expectations of him.
“Thank god we’re having this day off,” he added in a producer interview. “I can’t actually express the pressure that comes with being Captain Sandy’s bosun. I need to release energy big time, like finally f–kin’ relax.”
Though Below Deck Med‘s Nov. 24 episode kicked off with Kizzi making out with Max Salvador in Bravado‘s hot tub, the deckhand decided afterward that he was more interested in new stew Cathy Skinner. So, newly single Kizzi turned her attention to Nathan.
A shirtless Nathan, meanwhile, broke the ice by asking Kizzi to help him apply sunscreen on his bare chest. She obliged, and he returned the favor by rubbing lotion onto her body. “I’m so protected right now,” Kizzi playfully joked.
Shortly afterward, the two hopped into the beach club’s pool and after some more flirty banter, Kizzi wrapped her arms around Nathan’s neck and the two began making out in front of their fellow crew members.
“What the f–k is going on?” Nathan remarked in a confessional. “I don’t know how we got here, but I guess, why not?”
Kizzi, meanwhile, compared herself to “the suffragettes,” in a separate producer interview.
“I’m doing this for the women of our nation,” she quipped. “I’m helping women get the right to a meaningless snog. This is women empowerment. I love it.”
Later, Kizzi revealed to Aesha that she wasn’t actually interested in pursuing a relationship with Nathan either.
“Do you know what’s really f–king funny?” she asked the chief stew. “I feel like at one point I had all the boys on a string, could’ve had any of them. And now, my only other f–king option is Nathan, and I don’t want him. I just want to snog.”

As the Below Deck Med midseason trailer at the end of the episode teased, Nathan will soon own up to what happened when Gael makes her Season 10 debut.
The sneak peek, which officially premiered during BravoCon 2025, showed Gael accepting Nathan’s invitation for a visit. After she arrived, Nathan confessed that he “kissed Kizzi,” and though her immediate reaction was unclear, another scene previewed her saying, “I hate you.”
In another clip from the pair’s night out, Gael similarly told Nathan, “I hated you so long. Every part of me wanted to never see you again.”
His response? “It’s f–king devastating,” Nathan lamented in a confessional. “I might have lost the love of my life.”
As fans already know, however, Nathan and Gael eventually welcomed a son, Kayden, in June 2025, and the full supertease already hinted that viewers will at least see her pregnant belly before Season 10 ends.
